NWRC staff visit birthplace of Gandhi on trip to India

A delegation of staff from North West Regional College (NWRC) have just returned from an inspirational trip to India where they shared their skills and experiences in curriculum design and development with colleagues in education.
Kathleen McCaul, Head of Business, Hospitality, Tourism and Performing Arts at NWRC, College Lecturer Emmett McCourt, Community Education Officer Raymond Craig, and Martin Peoples, Head of Technology and Enhanced Learning, were visiting Gujarat, the birth place of Mahatma Ghandi.
This is the first in a series of bilateral visits, funded by the EU’s Erasmus+ programme.
The delegation spent time in India learning about the pioneering work being done by the Askhar Trust’s remote school for deaf children.
