Nominate a colleague for a staff award!


Staff at all of North West Regional College's campuses have been asked to nominate in the 2017 Staff Award Scheme.
The scheme has been in operation since 2009 and you can nominate in a number of categories:
 
Excellence; Pastoral Care of Students; Equality and Diversity; Individual Contribution to a Team; Ongoing Quality, Contribution to STEM, Uniqueness/Innovation/Creativity, Employability, Cross College Role/Activities; and Employer Engagement.
When completing the nomination form you will be asked to select one of these categories which you feel best reflects the reason why you are nominating your colleague and you should provide any evidence you would have that would support your nomination. 
Following submission of your form, the nominations are considered by a panel of representatives which is Chaired by a Member of the College’s Governing Body.  The other panel members are representatives of each Campus and are selected randomly each year.
Staff members who were previously awarded for a specific category can be nominated again for the same category following an interval of 5 years.
The second awards ceremony for this academic year will be held during the College’s positive workplace event therefore nominations should be  submitted to Kate Duffy prior to the end of April 2017.
