college has for many years enjoyed success in a range of disciplines at the UK
World Skills competition. This is the first year we have entered the
Hairdressing element of Worldskills and we are delighted to have six students
through to the next stage.
“All of the students have worked exceptionally hard to get
to this point which is designed to reflect the role of hairdresser and the
standards that are expected within the Hairdressing industry. At the National
Regional Heats – the competitors will undertake three tasks in one day
including - Gents, Daywear and Cut and Colour. We wish all of them the best as
they represent our award winning Hairdressing department in Scotland.”
