In partnership with the Western & Social Care Trust, our Early Years department provided students with information and understanding of their role
with regard to supporting the health and well-being of babies and children. The
keynote speakers talked about the importance of the early years of each
child's life while Lisa Taggart, Curriculum Manager discussed how this is relevant in the
students placement within early year settings throughout the North West
area. These speakers are currently actively involved in leading the
strategy for the promoting of Infant Mental Health and by involving our
students they are recognising the value that they add to the early years
provision in the North West.
