Colleges NI are holding a hustings debate titled ‘Skills for
the Economy’ on Thursday 21st April from 2pm to 3.30pm at
Belfast Met’s – Titanic Quarter Campus (Lecture Theatre).
The event will be compered by Tara Mills. It will be
an excellent opportunity for students and staff (along with business reps,
trade unions, awarding bodies etc) to engage directly with party candidates for
the forthcoming local elections to discuss pertinent issues around skills for
the economy.
A copy of the CNI manifesto – with our 10 asks can be viewed here and will be distributed at the event.
Staff and students are invited to attend this event, either individually or as a group.
