Students and staff from our School of Hospitality are preparing to hold a special awareness event ‘Mind Your Head’ at our Flying Clipper Brasserie, Strand Road Campus, on Monday 27th April 10am – 1pm.
The ‘Fundraising Fry-day’ will be held in memory of former NWRC Hospitality & Catering student Paddy Kelly, and is aimed at raising awareness of the after-effects of suicide, particularly among young people. The event was recently launched by Mayor of Derry City & Strabane District Council Elisha McCallion, pictured here with College student Connor Coyle, and will be attended by representatives from local community and support organisations who will be on hand to provide help and advice in this area.
