Five
female students from the College’s music section, Bobbi Harvey, Collette
Connolly, Carolann Carlisle, Emma Hughes and Johanna Fagen have recorded a
unique EP to celebrate equality. This marked the inaugural
release of an annual EP release of the newly founded NWRC Records, a record
label established by our students to create and promote music made by NWRC
music students.
Earlier this year, one of the students was nominated as
the female officer for the students union and as a result wanted to do
something to celebrate equality. Assisted by Music Lecturer Marc Geagan, the
students agreed to include this work as part of their course modules.
