Students of the Month - Greystone

Congratulations to James McDonald and Darwin McKenzie - named Students of the Month in Literacy and Numeracy respectively by Essential Skills lecturers Ann Daly & Michelle Young.  The Skills for Work Level 1 students were recognised for their progression and hard work this term.

 

Festivities - Well Done

Very well done to all of the students and staff involved in our Annual Christmas Festivities which took place across the College, in particular those students who sang or performed during the events.
Congratulations to all of the lucky winners in both draws - pictured below with Willie O'Donnell (Student Services) is £1000 student draw winner Sarah Wood, Health Science student - the names of all of the winners are available on the College LCD screens.  Congratulations also to the staff who collected the various staff awards.

NWRC Recreational Art Exhibition

A Christmas Exhibition of paintings on the ground of the Lawrence Building will begin Today (Friday) and continue until Tuesday. All Paintings are for sale

Coronary Heart Disease and Stroke Information Session

December 15th will see a Coronary Heart Disease and Stroke 45 minute session held at the Northland Building in DD222 between 1 and 2pm. Please see details on attached picture for more information. 

 

 

NWRC Records - Christmas Gig!

On Thursday 10^th December, NWRC Records will kick off Christmas with a sneak peek of some of the artists who will be part of their 2016 album release. The concert will begin at 1pm in our Foyle Building, Level 4 Student Area - opportunity to see a mix of acts, including singer/songwriters, electronic acts and acoustic acts. There will be something for everyone.  Don’t miss out!

£400 raised in memory of Terence

Thanks to all those who supported and participated in the recent fundraising efforts for Foyle Hospice in memory of Terence O'Kane, a former member of staff at the Greystone campus.  Bernie Doherty presented the £400 raised via a memory walk and bird table raffle (supplied by Alan Starrs) to the Foyle Hospice.

Make sure you get along to the switch on of the Christmas lights today at 3:30pm. The tree is situated at the bottom of the hill of our Strand Road Campus. Come along and bring your festive cheer!
