College Improvement Team - October 2014

COLLEGE IMPROVEMENT TEAM - BULLETIN TO STAFF, October 2014

The October meeting of CIT welcomed Mr Bill Gordon from Investors in People (IIP) who gave a very informative talk on the aims and merits of IIP accreditation.

The Team then discussed the relative merits of IIP and EFQM and decided to recommend to the Governing Body to consider IIP as the Framework most suited to the aims of the College.

There was then some discussion about the Staff Attitudes Survey. The Governing Body are holding a Strategic Planning Day in November 2014 and it was decided to form a sub group of CIT to look at the Survey Outcomes. The aim is to provide a summary of aspects from the Survey which can be considered at the Strategic Planning day.
