NWRC last week presented the first ever bursaries in the new Elite Athlete Scheme. Five students from the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Sport received a bursary worth £500 including sports kit, membership of the gym, and dedicated mentoring and training to help them progress in their chosen sports.
